Cole, Ora Belle (Marriage - 1 Jul 1908)

On Wednesday July 1, 1908, Mr. Fred Hale Davis and Miss Ora Belle Cole were married at the Congregational parsonage in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), Rev. H.A. Risser officiating. The houng couple took the forenoon train for Minneapolis. They will reside at Mellen, Wis., where the groom has a position as lumber grader. He is the son of F.W. Davis of Granton, grew up on his father’s farm near that village and later went into the lumber business. He is a young man of a high type of honesty and business capacity. The bride, who is the daughter of Fred Cole, is also from Granton. She has incidentally made a number of acquaintances here who speak most highly of her, and among the Granton folks, where she is well known, she seems to be a great favorite with all.
