Walters, Nettie (18 Augl 1884 - 19 Mar 1912)

Mrs. Nettie Walters died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Ashland, Wis., March 19, 1912, after an illness of nearly four months. Mrs. Walters had suffered with Typhoid Fever when complications set in, which caused her death. She was born Aug. 18, 1884 in Pine Valley, Clark County and was married to Mr. Walters of Black River Falls Feb. 28, 1900. This union was a blessed one and there reigned in that home peace and happiness. Those who survive to mourn her loss are husband and her son Richard, ten years old, her mother, and four brothers and sisters, all of who were present at the funeral. Mrs. Huffet, Mrs. M. Haford and a brother, Wm. Green, were unable to be present.

The funeral services were held at the Dells Presbyterian Church Friday p.m. at 2 o’clock, Rev. Wm. Herbert Nye officiating. The venerable wife and mother was laid to rest in the pretty Dells Dam Cemetery near her mother’s home.
