Mrs. Ira Sherwin Dies Suddenly

Our community was grieved by the report that Mrs. Ira Sherwin died in the Krohn hospital at Black River Falls Sunday night after a few hours of illness. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwin, whose home is Merrillan, had accompanied their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Krueger of this village, to Black River Falls, Sunday evening to attend a play. While in the theatre, Mrs. Sherwin complained of feeling ill and asked to be helped out of doors. She was taken at once to the hospital where she passed quietly away.

Funeral services awaited arrival of her son, who is in the armed forces, at Seattle, Wash., and her sister, Mrs. E. O. Leonard of Loma, Montana. Services are to be held at the chapel in Black River Falls at 1:00 o'clock, Friday afternoon and 2:00 o'clock at the Methodist church in this village. Interment will be in the Mentor cemetery.
