Smith, Viletta (28 August 1901-27 July 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Mrs. Victor (Viletta) Smith, 82, 8726 Crider Crook Way, Potomac, Maryland, and a native of the Greenwood and Neillsville areas, died at Potomac Wednesday..

Memorial services will be Saturday at United Methodist Church, Neillsville. the Rev. Norbert H. Miller will officiate. The body is to be cremated and the ashes interred in Neillsville Cemetery at a later date.

There will be no visitation. The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, is in charge of arrangements.

The former Vilette Suckow was born August 28, 1901 in Greenwood, to Mr and Mrs. Rudolph (Helena Miller) Suckow. and received her education in the Greenwood and Neillsville areas. She had been a resident of Gary and Highland, Indiana for many years, and in later years lived with her son in Maryland.

She was married to Victor Smith, and he died in 1969.

Survivors include her son, Gordon of Potomac, Maryland; three brothers, Roy Suckow and Vernie Suckow, both of Neillsville, and Francis Suckow of Greenwood; and three grandchildren.
