Helen C. Wolf

Helen Wolf, age 93, of Granton, died Thursday, March 1 at her home at 207 West 2nd St. in Granton.

Helen Clara Wolf was born on April 9, 1910 in Cedarburg, the daughter of Carl and Marie (Bachman) Huettl. She was united in marriage to Carl Otto Wolf, and worked at a laundry, the Johnson Cookie Factory and a brewery in Milwaukee. Carl worked as a foreman at the Falk Company in Milwaukee and when he retired they moved to Granton in the late 1960's.

She is survived by a daughter, LaVerne "Vernie" Eastman, of Milwaukee; seven grandchildren, Lana (Alan) Hoover, of Granton; Frank Hall, of Milwaukee; Helen Tellock (Jurgen) Oeflein, of Wurzburg, Germany; Carla Clayton, of Granton; Chris (Mel) Staver, of Milwaukee; Maddy Eastman, of Milwaukee; Charles (Ellen) Reuter III, of Neenah; 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded In death by her husband, Carl; one infant son, Roger Allen; two daughters, Lorrie Eastman, and Penny Reuter; two grandchildren, William Hall and Arthur Reuter; three brothers, Carl Huettl, Albert Huettl and Herman Huettl; and one sister, Louise Belhumer.

Funeral services for Helen were held Tuesday, March 16, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Ron. Johnson of Our Father's House in Chili officiated. Music was provided by Arnie, Dawn, and Dee Wolf and Mike Morrow. Interment was in the Town of Lynn Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Casket bearers for Helen were James Franks, Tom Franks, Wayne Frietag, Make Morrow, Chuck Reuter, and Charles Riedel.

The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Helen's family with funeral arrangements.
