Waterpool, Minnie Augusta (2 June 1857 - 9 Sept. 1925)

Minnie Augusta Waterpool was born June 2, 1857, at Milwaukee, Wis. She passed away at the Marshfield hospital Sept. 9, following an operation for gall stones, aged 68 years, 3 months and seven days. Her early childhood was spent in the city of Milwaukee. Her father and mother, Frederick and Gretchen Miller, moved with their family to Fairchild, Wis., when deceased was but a young girl. On March 17th, 1878, she was married to James West, taking up her residence on the James West place, where she has resided up to the present time. To this union were born three children, Sarah, Margaret and George. On April 8, 1889 she was married to George Wilding. To this marriage one daughter was born. On Sept. 4, 1895 she was married to William Waterpool. To this union were born three children, William, Mabel, and Elsie.

The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Johnson of Granton, Mrs. Willard Gerhardt of Neillsville and Mrs. Clarence Brossard of Beaver Dam, Wis.; two sons, Geo. West of Neillsville and William Waterpool of Marinette, Wis., all of whom were present at the funeral; three brothers, John Miller of Eau Claire, August Miller and Christ Miller of Seattle, Wash., and one sister, Mrs. Charles Berry of Eau Claire. Deceased had twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Ridge Church Saturday, conducted by Rev. Mallory. The remains were laid to rest in the Grant Cemetery.
