Blackman, Daphane (Marriage - 15 Dec. 1925)

Mr. Lyman L. Chase and Miss Daphane Blackman were married Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 15, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell in the town of Grant, Rev. S. J. Lambright of Neillsville officiating. They were attended by Ray and Fanny Chase, brother and sister of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Ralph Blackman and is a young lady of many fine qualities. She has lived for the past six years at the Clarion Counsell home and is highly esteemed there and in the community. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Chase who live on the Pleasant Ridge road in the town of Pine Valley. He is an intelligent and energetic young man and is well liked by all who know him.

After the ceremony a fine wedding supper was served to the bridal party and guests by Mrs. Counsell. The young couple will live for the present time at the home of the groom’s parents.

We join with others in wishing them happiness and success.
