Shramek, Lillian (Marriage - 26 Dec. 1925)

On Saturday, December 26, Mr. Fred Krumpeck Jr. and Miss Lillian Shramek, popular young people of the town of Levis were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. The impressive double ring ceremony was used.

The groom was attended by Edward Shramek, brother of the bride, and Miss Anna Krumpeck, sister of the groom was maid of honor.

The bride wore white georgette crepe over silk canton crepe, also a veil and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor wore a gown of pink georgette crepe over silk and carried a bouquet of pink roses.

The groom and best man wore suits of blue serge.

The rooms were tastily decorated in white, with wedding bells. After the ceremony a fine wedding dinner was served to about forty relatives and near friends of the bride and groom.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Krumpeck Sr. of the town of Levis. He is an ex-service man and is highly spoken of by all who know him. He is employed by the Goding Shoe Co. of Chicago.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Shramek Sr., also o f Levis. She graduated from the Meadow View school and lived at home until the past two years when she has been employed as an auditor for a large manufacturing concern in Chicago. In addition to business ability she also is a fine housekeeper and well qualified for the duties of a home. She makes friends readily wherever she goes.

They will live temporarily in Chicago and later make their home in Paris, Illinois where the Goding Shoe Co. is building a new factory, the groom being assistant manager of the Company.

The young couple begin married life with every prospect of success and happiness. The Press extends to them congratulations and hope that their bright prospects May be fulfilled.
