Booth, Myrtella B. (2 Sep 1926)

Mr. Everett H. Wildish of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., and Miss Myrtella Belle Booth of Platteville, Wis., were united in marriage in the M. E. Church of that city Thursday, Sept. 2, 1926, rev. Guy Campbell, formerly M. E. Pastor in Neillsville, officiating. They were attended by Mr. M. E. Stocks and Miss Eleanor Seely of Platteville, who were married the following day at Rock Island, Ill.

The groom is the youngest son of Mr. John Wildish of this city. He was born at the farm home in Pine Valley, attended the city schools and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1917, receiving his diploma, although going to the Border with old Co. A in the fall of 1916 and entering services again in the World War in April 1917. He saw active service overseas and did not get home until May 1919. About June 1 of that year he entered the employ of the Neillsville Condensed Milk Co., as a chemist and has held this position ever since. He is a young man who has made a fine record in every way. He is quiet and unassuming in manner, but efficient and energetic and reliable.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Nellie Booth of Platteville. She graduated from the State Normal School in that city, taught one year in Okana, Minn., and last year taught with great success in 5th and 6th grades of Neillsville schools. She is a young lady of refinement and culture.

The Press joins the many friends of this couple in wishing them success and happiness.

After a short trip through northern Wisconsin they will return about Sept. 15 and live for a time at the home of the groom's father.
