Rowe, Irma (Marriage - 6 May 1926)

On Thursday evening, May 6, at 8 o’clock, Mr. George Everett Pepper and Miss Irma Rowe, were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Grace Rowe, Rev. S. J. Lambright officiating. They were attended by Mr. LeLand Bandelow and the bride’s sister, Miss Isla Rowe. Only relatives and near friends wee present. After the ceremony refreshments were served.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Pepper of the town of Grant. He grew up on his father’s farm, attended Neillsville High School and during the past year has worked in a garage in Chicago. He is a young man of excellent character and has a good standing in this community. The bride graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of 1923 and for some time has had a good position in the Register of Deed’s Office. Her courtesy, competence, and lady-like manner have made her most popular with all who have met her, both in a social way and in her work in the office.

For the present the young couple will make their home at the residence of the groom’s parents.

The Press joins other friends in wishing them the success and happiness of which they are so well worthy.
