Mr. Milford Rowe and Miss Irene Counsell were united in marriage Thursday forenoon, May 31, 1928, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Counsell on Oak St., Rev. S. J. Lambright officiating. The witnesses were Mr. Clarion Counsell, brother of the bride, and Mrs. E. M. Dahl, sister of the groom. About thirty guests, relatives and near friends were in attendance. The wedding march was played by Miss Ferne Rowe.

Following the ceremony a bounteous wedding dinner was served, after which the bride and groom left by auto on a wedding trip to Rice Lake and other places in the lake region of northern Wisconsin.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rowe of the town of York, Clark County, Wis. He was born and grew to manhood on the home farm, attended the rural school and assisted his father with the farm work. He is an industrious young man of excellent character and well liked by all who know him.

The bride's parents formerly lived on the farm on Pleasant Ridge, later moving to the city. She attend the local school and later Neillsville High School, graduating in 1917. After graduating she taught a country school for a year, and for some time was employed in the office of Dr. F. T. Weeks, and for the past two years in the Hilmen Variety Store. In her work as a teacher and in her contact with the public in her later positions she has won a wide circle of friends. She has been also a faithful and efficient worker in the Methodist Church and Sunday School.

They will make their home at the residence of the groom's parents, where he will continue to take an active part in the management and work on the farm.

The Press join the many other friends of this worthy couple in wishing them success and a happy life.
