On Saturday, Oct. 6, 1928, at 5:30 in the afternoon, Mr. John Mattson and Miss Myrtle Hansen were united in marriage at Elgin, Ill., Rev. Yourd officiating, the ceremony taking place at the parsonage. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Helm of Elgin, Mr. Helm being a cousin of the groom.

The young couple returned to Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. Sunday night.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Mattson of Neillsville. He came here with his parents when a young boy, graduated from Neillsville High School in the class of 1925. He attended the state university for a year, and for some time past has been employed by Northern States Power Co. He is a young man of activity and intelligence, and is likely to succeed in his work.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ole C. Hansen, who live on Grand Ave. After graduation she taught a rural school successful for some time. She has for several years been employed in the W.
