Gower, Doris (28 OCT 1929)

Mr. Lisle Armitage and Miss Doris Gower were quietly married on Monday, Oct. 28, 1929, at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Parsonage, Rev. S. J. Lambright officiating. They were attended by Mr. Alvin Wendt, a friend of the groom, and Miss Vera Gower, sister of the bride.

The groom is the son of Mrs. George Iffland, former Mrs. Della Armitage. He was born in the farm home in Weston, Clark County, Wis., and has lived there practically all his life, and is a young man of excellent reputation.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gower of Alma Center, and has been a visitor in this locality occasionally from childhood, and has a circle of admiring friends.

The young couple will live on the farm of the groom's mother in Weston.
