Turenne, Louis (17 AUG 1859 - 6 May 1926)

Louis Turenne died at his home in the town of Reseburg, Clark county, Wis. on Thursday, May 6, 1926, at 3 p.m., after a lingering illness. Deceased was born Aug. 17, 1859, at Montreal, Canada, and came to Escanaba, Mich., about 45 years ago. He was married one year later to Miss Delia Juneau. He came to Fond du Lac, Wis., 31 years ago, and 18 years ago moved to Clark County, settling in the town of Reseburg. He is survived by his wife and six children, four sons, Albert, Peter, Joseph and George of Thorp, and two daughters, Mrs. C. R. Flanders of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Mrs. A. N. Yates of Owen, Wis., twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, five brothers, three in Canada, one in N.Y., and one in Michigan. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. The funeral was held from St. Bernard's Church of Thorp Saturday at 10:00 a.m., interment following in the St. Bernard's Cemetery. The pallbearers were Richard Brunner, Alvin Trukey, John Verkuilen, George Haas, Rudolph Verweyst and Gilbert Vanderhyden.
