Yager, Anna (3 MAY 1859 - 3 JUN 1926)

Mrs. Frank Yager, nee Anna Persicka, died at her farm home three miles north of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Thursday, June 3, 1926. She was born in Prague, Bohemia, on May 3, 1959, and came to America in 1892 and was united on Dec. 1, 1892 to Mr. Frank Yager, and has resided here since that time. Her home instincts were strong her in this fevered world of disappointment. Her affection for friends and kindred was tender and abiding. To her the struggle and burden bearing of earth are ended, and like one who awakens from a troubled dream she has awakened to see life's endless morning break and knows herself at home with all the vast throng of loved ones, missed from earth, safe about her. Funeral services were held at her home at 2 o'clock on Sunday afternoon last, Wendel Bennett, pastor of the local M. E. Church, officiating, interment following in the Thorp Village Cemetery. Deceased leaves to mourn, her husband, Frank Yager, four sons, Joseph F. of Ironton, Wis., Carl T. of Cadott, Frank Jr. of Chicago, and Edward of Thorp, and one daughter, Mrs. John Kinas of Ladysmith, all of who were present at the funeral.
