Raymond, Elizabeth (11 June 1855 - 24 April 1930)

Word is received by friends here that Mrs. O. S. Raymond, for 13 years a resident of Neillsville, passed away at her home in Fond du Lac April 24.

Mrs. Raymond, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Kissinger, was born in Washington County June 11, 1855. Her parents moved to Fond du Lac County where she grew to womanhood. Nov. 30, 1873, she was married to O. S. Raymond, who survives her. In 1900 they moved to Neillsville. Mr. Raymond had charge of the hub and spoke factory until 1913, when they returned to Fond du Lac.

Mrs. Raymond was a most gracious and lovable lady and there are still many of her friends living here who will grieve to learn of her death. Besides her husband, she leaves three children, Robert L. Raymond of Campbellsport; Mrs. Forest Brown of Minneapolis and Dr. R. G. Raymond of Brownsville. One daughter, Hattie, died in infancy. She leaves also three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; also four brothers.
