--Kidd, Mrs. E. W. (? - 1930)
Mrs. E. W. Kidd of Owen died Friday at the hospital in Eau Claire where she had been some time. She was taken ill last fall from a poisoning of the blood and in spite of prompt and constant treatment she failed to improve. For some time past blood transfusions wee used Mr. Kidd giving about a pint of blood each week to keep up her strength, but of no avail.
Mrs. Kidd was active in social, educational and church affairs at Owen, and was much loved by all who knew her. She leaves her husband and one daughter, a school girl.
The funeral was held at the Episcopalian church in Eau Claire, Monday and was largely attended. Mr. Kidd is a prominent member of the County Board and a number of members of that body attended the funeral. Those who went from here were John J. Irvine, C. R. Sturdevant, Judge Schoengarth, Ed. Kutchera, Ernest Snyder, Frank Brown, and Ted Gall.
