Jensen, Etta (MAY 1889 - 19 NOV 1924)

Mrs. C. J. Jensen, 228 South Detroit St., Bellefontaine, Ohio, died suddenly early Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1924, shortly after midnight, following attacks of acute indigestion, expiring on the bed where she had been sitting, when saying to her husband, "I feel just a little better now."

Mr. Jensen is manager of the Nestle Food Company's plant.

Mrs. Jensen was a woman who had made many friends in the time of short residence in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The family came from Pecatonica, Ill., four years ago and soon thereafter all became well acquainted here. Mrs. Jensen was a member of the Eastern Star Order in Pecatonica and one who had enjoyed social life. She was a staunch member of the Lutheran Church and had been regular in attendance there.

As wife and mother she was an ideal woman, as neighbor one who was truly kind and tender, and as a friend ever true.

Remaining with the husband and son and daughter are the following brothers and sisters: Walter Swieso, Hobert Swieso and Mrs. James White of Loyal, Clark County, Wis.; Mrs. William Sanderson of Columbus, Wis.; Mrs. Clarence Cole of Marshall, Wis.

Etta Swieso was born in Columbus, Wis., 35 years ago last May. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Swieso deceased. Marriage with C. J. Jensen occurred Apr. 5, 1910. The family has been a very happy one, the son and daughter and husband having in the mother and wife, a companion who had centered her heart interest in all of the events of their wives.

Short funeral services were held Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock in their home with Dr. C. E. Rice, the pastor in charge. Mr. Jensen and son and daughter left early Thursday morning for Loyal, Wis. Services were held here Saturday afternoon at the Woodman Hall. Burial took place in the cemetery beside the graves of her parents.
