Miller, Dr. (4 JUN 1877 - Dec 1924)

Dr. Miller, who had practice his profession in Marshfield, Wis. since Sept. 1920, and who was a member of the Wood County Medical Society, was born at Dubuque, Iowa, June 4, 1877, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Miller. The mother is still living and is a resident of Viroqua, Wis., where Dr. Miller was educated, being graduated from high school in that place.

His medical course was pursued in the school of Physicians and Surgeons in Chicago, which he attended for three years, and then entered Marquette Medical School at Milwaukee, where he was granted a medical degree in 1905.

Dr. Miller began practicing his profession in Coy, Arkansas, but after continuing there for about a year he opened an office at Mount Hope, where he also remained for about a year, when he moved to Patch Grove, a neighboring town, where he was engaged in his profession for two years. His next move was to Vivian, S.D., where he remained for a year. Before coming to Marshfield Dr. Miller practice at Spencer for three years and in this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) for nearly six years.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, His mother and a host of friends.
