Lintner, Anna (13 MAR 1875 - 2 Feb 1918)

DEATH CLAIMS MISS ANNA LINTNER

The news of Miss Anna Lintner’s death came as a shock to everyone here, although it was known for a few days that she was seriously sick. She went to Mosinee to visit her brother August two weeks ago and on last Wednesday was taken sick. Everything was done for her but to no avail and she passed on to the great beyond on Saturday morning, Feb. 2, aged 42 years, 10 mo. 19 days.

The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lintner and was born in the town of Loyal March 13th 1875, and lived with her parents there until about eight years ago when they moved to this village. She has always lived at home, caring for her mother until her death five years ago. Her father died three years ago. Last spring she went to Hartford and later to Milwaukee where she stayed until two weeks ago. During her life long residence in this vicinity she made a large number of friends. She leaves to mourn her loss, two brothers, August of Mosinee, John of Loyal, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Milerch of Fox Lake, and Mrs. Arthur Holmes of Stevenson, Wash. Besides other relatives. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church from which church the funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., Rev. E. Kemens officiating, assisted by Rev. B.F. Matter. Interment was in the Loyal cemetery.

Those from far away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Lintner of Mosinee, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Milerch of Fox Lake and Mr. Joseph Lintner of Milwaukee. The relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
