The home of Mrs. Cora Miles was the scene of a pretty home wedding last Thursday, Oct. 15, 1925 at 8:30, when Miss Katy Miles was united in marriage to Mr. Elvin H. Cook, Rev. Wilson Mallory performing the ceremony.

The bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Beatrice Drake, who wore a dress of red canton crepe. Mr. Verland Barrett, a cousin of the groom, was groomsman.

The bride was attired in a lovely gown of white georgette, embroidered and trimmed with ostrich feathers, and wore pink carnations.

Only immediate relatives were present and after the ceremony refreshments were served.

The bride has lived nearly all of her life in this vicinity and is a very capable young lady, and is held in highest esteem by all who know her. She is a graduate of the Loyal High School class of 1925.

The groom is the youngest son of Mrs. Marion Cook and is also very well known here. He is a young man of sterling worth and fine principles, and enjoys the respect and esteem of everyone.

The newlyweds left for a wedding trip to Ladysmith and other places norht and will be at home at Loyal, Clark County, Wis. after Nov. 1st.

A host of friends join with the Tribune in extending congratulations and best wishes fro a life of happiness and prosperity.
