Beach, Marian A. (24 Dec 1925)

Waupun, Wis., Dec 24, 1925. A wedding, charming in its simplicity, took place at the parsonage of the Methodist Church this morning when Rev. E. J. Symons performed the ceremony which united in marriage Miss Marian Alice Beach of this city, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving L. Beach, and Paul Rued of Curtiss, Clark County, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Rued. The bride was attired in a brown coat dress and a hat to match.

The wedding luncheon was served at 1 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hazen, with covers laid for eight. The decorations were in keeping with the holiday season.

After luncheon Mr. and Mrs. Rued went to Fond du Lac and from there will go to Curtiss to spend the holidays with relatives. They will be at home temporarily at 115 West Brown St. after Jan. 4.

Mr. Rued is a graduate of the Wis. Commercial Academy, Milwaukee, and of the Hiland Park School of Engineering at Des Moines, Iowa. He is engaged in farming, but is spending the winter in Waupun. His bride is a graduate of the Waupun High School and of Lawrence College, and for some time was religious director at Wesley Methodist Church, St. Paul, operator at the local telephone exchange. She has been the guest of honor at several pre-nuptial affairs.

The out of town guest at the wedding was Miss Mary Stiles of Los Angeles, Calif. (Waupun New: Fond du Lac Commonwealth)

Miss Marion Beach is known to many, having lived here (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) at one time and moved away to Waupun nearly 15 years ago.
