Bistier, Donald (8 July 1902 -12 July 1930)

Donald Bistier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bistier, was born at Minnesota Junction, Wis., July 8, 1902. Several years ago he moved to Clark County with his parents. For three years he took training in a military training camp. On Jan. 11, 1924 he was married to Miss Gertrude Fitzpatrick of St. Paul. For several years he was an employee of the Cudahy Packing Co.. Some months ago his health began to fail from cancer of the stomach and on July 12 he passed away at Aucker Hospital in St. Paul where he was a patient for some time.

He was a lively fun-loving disposition and had a host of friends. He is survived by his wife and two small daughters; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bistier of Beloit, one brother Arnold of Beloit; a half-sister, Mrs. Geo. Wheeler also of Beloit; and 3 half-brothers Otto Warren of Neillsville; Frank Warren of Rosendale and Hugo Warren of Waupun, all of whom attended the funeral which was held at the undertaking chapel in Beloit, Rev. Meral of the Lutheran Church officiating. The impressive Masonic ceremony was given at the cemetery. The wealth of the flowers gave testimony to the esteem and love of his many friends.
