Platten, Anna (3 NOV 1926)

Miss Anna Platten, daughter of Adam Platten of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., and Philip Beaver of Loyal were united in marriage Wednesday morning at 9:00 o'clock at St. Balthasar's here. Rev. Stenz performed the ceremony, after which mass was said by Rev. Leabel, a nephew of the groom.

The bride looked charming in a gown of white crepe de chine, trimmed with white beads, a white veil and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and white carnations. The bridesmaids were Miss Julia Platten, sister of the bride, Rose Boackhaus, cousin of the bride, they were dressed in orchid and blue and wore a silver wreath. Edward Beaver attended his brother as best man and Henry Platten the bride's brother.

The groom wore a dark blue serge suit, the boys were in a dark blue suit. After the ceremony a wedding dinner and supper were served at the bride's home.

The following guests from out of town attended the wedding: Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver of Granton; Mrs. Duvall of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wesling of Marshfield; Mrs. Nick Weiter of Cleveland; Mr. Mick Boackhaus and family of St. Nazianz; Mrs. Henry Wesling of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Anna Wesling of Greenwood.
