Krause, William J. (18 Oct. 1897 - 27 May 1931)

William J. Krause was born on a farm near Colfax, Wis., Oct. 18, 1898, and died on May 27, 1931, at the age of 32 years, 7 months, and 9 days. He grew to manhood on the home farm, graduated from the Colfax high school and in 1923 from the Palmer School of Chiropractic. He began practice at once at Wausaukee, Wis.

On June 12, 1926, he was married here to Miss Vivian Cripe. In December 1927 they moved to Neillsville where Dr. Krause, gradually established a large practice. A short time ago he suffered a nervous breakdown from over work and was on the way to a sanitarium at Davenport, Iowa, when he died suddenly in the car.

He leaves his wife and two small children Donald age 4 and Harold Lee 15 months. Dr. Krause was deeply attached to his home and wife and children. He was a man of high ideals, faultless morals and in all his dealings was a man of excellent principles. His sudden death is a hard blow to his family and the keenest sympathy is felt for them. Besides his wife and children he leaves his mother, four brothers, and one sister.

The funeral was held at Colfax, Friday.
