Ratsch, Mary Catherine (Marriage - 17 April 2004)

Mary Catherine Ratsch and Christopher Karl Tomehl were married April 17, 2004, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville.

The Rev. Woodrow Pace officiated at the ceremony. Musicians were Katie Ashley, Holly Ashley and Kris Herbrand. Soloists were Jeff Reither and Blaine Grady.

Parents of the couple are Russell and Judy Ratsch of Neillsville and Ted and Kate Tomehl of Pewaukee.

Maid of honor was Sara Schmidtke. Bridesmaids were Holly Ashley, Emily Gross, Leann Hutchinson and Nikki Sroka.

Best man was Tobin Tomehl. Groomsmen were Ross Williams, Scott Williams, Andy Winkler and Steve Zeddun. Ring bearer was Red Tomehl.

Serving as ushers were Jake Ratsch and Lyle Schmidtke.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Neillsville High School. She graduated summa cum laude in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in physiology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She received her medical degree in 2002 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine. She is employed as a pediatric resident at UNC Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of the University School of Milwaukee. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and zoology from UW-Madison in 1998. He received his medical degree from the UW-Madison School of Medicine in 2002. He is employed as a urology resident at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

They live in Chapel Hill.
