Mrs.Jacobson Passes Away

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Purkis received word Friday that their only daughter, Bessie, wife of Jake Jacobson, had passed away that morning at their home in Milwaukee at the age of 56. Mrs. Jacobson had been in poor health the last two or three years. She leaves to mourn her passing, besides her husband and aged parents, five children, ten grandchildren, and three brothers. Before marriage Mrs. Jacobson taught the Maple Grove school for several years and was my teacher. Mr. Purkis and Clyde left for Milwaukee Saturday to attend the funeral services which were held at the Prasser Funeral Home Monday afternoon. Mrs. Purkis was not able take the trip to Milwaukee on account of ill health. Our sincere sympathy is extended to her relatives at this time.
