Prust, Robert "Bob" C. (13 Nov. 1925 - 12 Nov. 2004)

Robert C. Prust, 78, of Chili, died Friday morning, Nov. 12, 2004, at his home surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Our Father's House in Chili, with the Rev. Ronald H. Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in the United Methodist Cemetery in the town of Fremont, Clark County. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Daniel, Brandon, Stephen, Nicholas, Timothy, Phillip and Tyler Prust and Kyle and Korey Schutz. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the American Legion Post 175 of Loyal.

Visitations will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home, and again on Monday at the church from 1 pm until service time.

Bob was born Nov. 13, 1925, to John and Louise (Beilke) Prust in town of Fremont, Clark County. He was united in marriage to Joan Drescher in April 1952 and they later divorced. After their marriage, he entered the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict from June 4, 1953, until his honorable discharge on March 3, 1955.

He returned to Chili after his military service and farmed in the town of Fremont for 50 years. He recently retired from St. Vincent de Paul because of ill health for several years.

Bob was a member of Our Father's House and American Legion Post 175 of Loyal.

He is survived by seven children, Carey Prust of Marshfield, Terry (Cynthia) Prust of Spencer, Brian (Kathryn) Prust of Marshfield, Keith (Eileen) Prust of Marshfield, Rhonda (Herb) Bolosky of West Alexander, Pa., Bruce (Sharlene) Prust of Chili and Kevin (Pam) Prust of Marshfield; 13 grandchildren, Christina (fiance Michael Mroz), Daniel, Brandon, Stephen, Emily, Nicholas, Timothy, Phillip, Ashley, Tyler and Mackenzie Prust; and Kyle and Korey Schutz. He is further survived by three sisters, Viola (Ray) Otto of Kaukauna, Edna Masephol of Marshfield and Dorothy (Walter) Friant of Marshfield; and one brother, Harold (Vera) Prust of Plymouth.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by one son, Randy.
