Kile, John W. 1898 - 27 DEC 1972)

John W. Kile, 74, route 3, Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died at St. Joseph's Hospital here last night as the result of injuries suffered in the day when he was trampled by heifers.

Clark County Coroner Robert Lulloff reported today that Kile sustained sever head, chest and internal injuries after being knocked down by a 250-pound calf in a stall at the Mattes Livestock Market near Thorp, where Kile was employed part time.

Kile was taken to Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley and then transferred to St. Joseph's, where he died at 8:45 p.m.
