Untiedt, Carol J. (12 Augl 1936 - 2 NOV 2004)

Carol J. Untiedt, 68, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at her home. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Mark Neumann officiated.

Carol J. Kohnhorst was born Aug. 12, 1936 in Wausau, to Robert and Erna [nee Gritzmacher] Kohnhorst. She married Emil Untiedt on July 11, 1959. She owned and operated Carol’s Beauty Shop in her home from 1961 until the present. She and her family were instrumental in starting the softball diamond in Atwood. She operated the concession stand for many years. Her interests included cooking, preparing desserts, and playing the piano.

Survivors include her husband, Emil Untiedt, Curtiss; her children, Charmaine Untiedt, Marshfield, Steven [Christine] Untiedt, Abbotsford, and Keith [Tammy] Untiedt, Curtiss; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Beverly [Buddy] Bradford, Schofield, Shirley [Lyle] Koppa, Wausau, and Janet [Allen] Michlig, Wausau.
