Konecny, Anna (18 MAR 1843 - 7 Mar 1915)

Mrs. Anna Konecny, one of the pioneer resident of the town of Holton, Marathon Co., died Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, Joseph Konecny, death being due mostly to old age. She was 71 years, 11 months and 17 days old.

She was born in Bohemia on March 18, 1843, but has spent the greater part of her life on their farm in the town of Holton, having come to this country and settling there in 1881.

She leaves to mourn her death, an aged husband, a son Joseph Jr., a daughter, Mrs. E. F. Pope, and a number of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The funeral, conducted by Undertaker E. J. Fuchsgruber, was held Wednesday from the Salem Evangelical Church, the Rev. W. W. Krueger officiating, and interment was made on the family lot at the Union Cemetery (Dorchester Memorial South).
