Alverson, Charles Lewis (1860 - 21 Apr 1916)
Charles Lewis Alverson, cashier and founder of the Medford State Bank, passed away suddenly last Friday morning at three o'clock, aged fifty years.
He was one of the shrewdest financier in this part of the state and was at the time of his death also president of the Portage bank.
Mr. Alverson is well known to the people of this community (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) and will be greatly missed by many.
