Julia L. Mitte

Neillsville-Julia L. Mitte,65 Neillsville, died at 2:02 a.m. Saturday at St Joseph's Hospital ,Marshfield.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Globe. The Rev. Paul N. Reede will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Karen Hoppa will be the organist for congregational singing.

Visitation will be at the Gesche Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today, until 11a.m. Tuesday, and then at the church from noon until time of service.

She was born April 29, 1923 in Greenwood ,to Julius and Lydia Dill, She attended Greenwood School and graduated in 1941 from Greenwood High School.

She was married to Harold H. Mitte Sept.16, 1943, in the town of Weston, He died Jan.6, 1978.

She worked in Chicago for a short time .They then farmed in the town of Weston area for many years. She retired recently.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe.

She is survived by two daughters, Lana Adams and Mrs. Larry (Linett) Engevold, both of Neillsville; three sons, William, Michael, and Dale, all of Neillsville; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Thomas of Las Vegas, Nev, Mrs. Anita Abel of Greenwood, and Mrs. Buelah Matkovich of Willard; Three brothers Gottlieb of Neillsville, Gilbert of Rock Dam, and Harvey of Greenwood,11 grandchildren; and one great grandson.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and three brothers, Henery, Norbert, and Leo.
