Nielson, Aage A. (24 April 1918 - 22 Dec. 2004)

GREENWOOD - Aage A. Nielsen, 86, of Greenwood died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Burial will follow in Greenwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Aage A. Nielsen

GREENWOOD - Aage A. Nielsen, 86, of the town of Eaton, Greenwood, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Greenwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Aage was born April 24, 1918, near Copenhagen, Denmark, the son of Johannes and Anna (Olsen) Nielsen, and immigrated to the United States in 1919. He was united in marriage to Lilian Endres on June 15, 1940, in Slinger. She died Sept. 12, 1983.

He served on the Greenwood School Board and worked in masonry and dairy farming.

He is survived by two sons, Roger (Alice) Nielsen of Iola and Wayne (Diane) Nielsen of Greenwood; a daughter, Sharon (Edward) Bushman of Wisconsin Rapids; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Karen Isabella Mantey of Watertown; and a brother, Henry (Beatrice) Nielsen of Greenwood.
