Taylor, David (19 FEB 1861 - 16 Apr 1949)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Services for David Taylor, 88, of 306 S. Court St., will be held at the Cole Funeral Home tomorrow at 2 p.m. He died at his home at 1:45 p.m. Saturday following an illness which struck him last December.

Burial will be made in the Neillsville Cemetery, the Rev. Virgill W. Nulton officiating.

Mr. Taylor was born in Jefferson Co. Feb. 19, 1861. He received his education in Jefferson and Clark County schools, coming to Clark County with his parents at the age of 13.

In 1887 he married Jennie Phillips. She died in 1922, and he went to Janesville where he made his home with a daughter for six years. In 1927 he married Edith Feirn, who survives him.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Wallace, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and five step-children, Leo, at home; Harriet, Irving and Helen Feirn, all of Neillsville; and Harold Feirn, Eau Claire.

There are seven grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
