Waldhart, Margaret (7 NOV 1869 - 27 Mar 1925)

Mrs. Fred Waldhart Sr., a resident of Stetsonville for the past 44 years, passed away at her home last Saturday, March 27, 1925. She had been in poor health for the past two years and had been confined to her bed since last December. Death came as a release from great suffering caused by heart trouble and dropsy.

Margaret Brunner was born in Switzerland, Nov. 7, 1869, being 56 years and 4 months old at the time of her death. She came with her parents and five brothers to the United States in 1881 and lived in Taylor Co. all of the time since. In 1886 she was married to Fred Waldhart of Stetsonville, and to this union were born 11 children, nine of who are living, two sons having died in infancy. Four sons, Fred, Chris, Ernest and Walter reside in or near Stetsonville; William at Colby; while the four daughters are Mrs. Randolph Wagner of Rib Lake; Mrs. Donald Ingersoll of Abbotsford and Mrs. Arthur Van Epps of Dodgeville, and Miss Ella, who lived with her parents. Besides these she leaves to mourn her loss a husband, 3 brothers and 12 grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Waldhart lived on a farm one mile south of Stetsonville since their marriage, until two years ago when they moved to the village of Stetsonville.

Mrs. Waldhart was a loyal wife and mother, greatly beloved by her family and a host of friends, and her untimely death brings sorrow to many hearts.

We can only offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family in their hour of sorrow and bid them remember the promises of the "Man of Galilee."

Funeral services were held at the home and at the Lutheran Church at Stetsonville, of which she was a member, Rev. M. J. Hilleman officiating. Floral offerings were many and beautiful. Burial took place in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. A. Nixdorf and daughter Alice of Dorchester, and Mrs. Gust Arndt and Mrs. Wilhelmi of Abbotsford.
