HAROLD C ZANK

Harold Clarence Zank, age 80, of Center City, MN, died Monday Aug. 30, 2004 at the Wellstead of Rogers Alzheimer Residence.

He was born on July 6, 1924, in Neillsville, the son of William and Emma (Stelloh) Zank. He was one of 11 children, the youngest boy, (nine brothers, two sisters), and attended school in Neillsville. As a young child, Harold loved music and sports. He enjoyed playing baseball and had many brothers to play ball with.

On Aug. 31, 1950 in Rice Lake, he married Jeanenne L’Allier from Forest Lake, MN. They lived in Forest Lake until 1954 where they bought a dairy farm near Almelund, MN. To this union of marriage came three daughters, Sherry Lee, Kathryn Ann and Lynn Marie. Harold and Jeanenne were married 54 years.

Harold enjoyed being on the farm. He loved music, going to dances, sports and traveling out west. His greatest enjoyment however was spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren. Harold spent his last year of life at the Wellstead of Rogers Alzheimer Residence. He looked forward to his many visits from his family.

Harold is survived by his wife, Jeanenne; his daughters, Sherry Froberg, of Tucson, AZ; Kathryn (Terry) Hogenson, of Lindstrom, MN; and Lynn (Ron) Carlson, of Center City, MN; six grandchildren, Eric (Kim) Froberg, Amy Froberg, Brian Hogenson, Steven Hogenson, Heather Carlson and Brandon Carlson, and one great-granddaughter, Lauren Froberg. Harold is also survived by Walter and Frank (Jeanette) Zank of Neillsville; Louis Zank of Lindstrom, MN; and Leona (Harold) Everson of St. Paul, MN.
