Draheim, Violet Marie (15 May 1915 - 1 Feb. 2005)

OWEN -Violet Marie Draheim, 89, Owen, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at her home. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longwood with inurnment to follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Green Grove.. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the church.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born May 15, 1915, in the town of Colby to William and Emma (Moldenhauer) Glasby. She married Walter Draheim on May 27, 1950, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Grove. He died Dec. 9, 1982. The couple farmed in the town of Longwood.

She is survived by her daughters, Vita (Dave) Gosse and Cindy (Jim) Sowieja, all of Owen; three grandchildren and one great-grandson; and two sisters, Virginia Hebert, Marshfield, and Mary Jane Hebert, Spencer.
