Mrs. Wm. Mumenthaler and baby left Tuesday night for Middle Grove, Ill., where her husband is employed in the mines.
Rev. W. B. Good, former pastor of the F. M. church here, has been critically ill with typhoid-pneumonia at Barron. The disease has passed the crisis ad he is now slowly convalescing. His many friends here hope that he may have a speedy recovery.
Mrs. Lubinski returned the latter part of the week from La Crosse with her daughter Marcyana, who is suffering a nervous breakdown. Miss Lubinski has been employed as book-keeper for a La Cross company and overwork in that capacity brought on the trouble with which she is suffering. It is thought that a course of treatment at a hospital may be necessary to restore her to health.
