We enjoyed a ramble through the woods last Thursday and as we saw the beautiful leaves and trees we recalled the verse:

"Poems were made by fools like me, But only God can make a tree."

Our most ambitions boys re-piled the wood into the wood shed.

Pupils with the highest averages in Grade 7-8 are Roy Palms and Orrlene Palms; in Grade 5-6 is Harley Palms, in Grades 3-4 is Eunice *Knops, and Grades 1-2 are Lillian Pozego, Maxine Pritchett and Allan *Sapiego. All is the only second grader.

Dores Larson brought us a pretty bouquet last week.

Pupils absent last week were Walter Henkel, Ellis Van Horn, Robert *Knops, and Allan *Sapiego.

Mr. Voight brought us the rest of our books. We have ordered *Gaten' Reading Tests for our school children.

Our windows Rest hard to read.

*Hard to read these surnames, so the spelling can be off.
