NETA ACHESON HAACK

Neta Acheson Haack, age 90, passed away Aug. 2, 2004.

She was born in Chippewa Falls on Aug. 26, 1913. At the age of five her family moved to Clark County, where she received her education through college. She taught school for several years. On June 19, 1934 she was married to George A Haack, who preceded her in death. After several years of farming, they purchased the Neillsville Bowling Alley. They later moved to Milwaukee where she was employed as an accountant for Ampco Metal Corp. They permanently relocated to Mesa, AZ in 1984.

Surviving Neta are two daughters Edris Kalin, of Rome, NY; and Diane (Robert) Bowen, of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren, Beth Gehrt, Robert Kalin, Dean Morbeck, Kathleen Turner; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Aug. 9 at the Apache Wells Community Church, in Mesa, AZ.

Bunker's University Chapel handled the arrangements for the family.
