Mueller, Katy (15 JAN 1891 - 27 NOV 1926)

Mrs. John Mueller died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1926, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. She had been ill about ten weeks and was taken to the hospital where she was operated on Monday, dying a week later.

The remains were brought to Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. and the funeral services were conducted from the Peace Church, Tuesday, Rev. Bizer officiating, and Andrew Siegert, Bruno Mueller, Henry Jantsch, August Sauter, Wm. H. Tischendorf, and Arthur Krause acting as pallbearers. The flower girls were Freida Bartnik, Nora Mueller, Emma Schopp, Ethel Siegert, Mary and Agnes Helfert, and Frank Hollmann, John Bollech and Albert Sauter took them in their cars.

Katy Fassel was born in Hungary, Jan. 15th, 1891, and was 35 years, 10 months and 12 days old at time of death. In 1907 she, with her father, immigrated to the United States, coming directly to Chicago, and on Aug. 10, 1910, she was united in marriage to John Mueller at the above city. One son was born to the, Chris, aged 14, who with his father, mourn the loss of her, whose voice is stilled and the loving hands are folded and we wonder why one who was just in the blossom time of life, should be called, but be sure, dear grieving one, God knows why and He doeth all things well, and when the cloud is lifted we shall know and we shall meet again.

Besides Mr. Mueller and Chris, her parents in Hungary, one brother John and sister, Mrs. Bastin, and a aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Fortler, all of Chicago, are left to mourn the loss of this dear one.
