Wilke, Wilhelmine (28 May 1863 - 19 Mar 1927)

Mrs. August Wilke, who died at her farm home Northeast of the last Saturday afternoon, was buried yesterday from the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. V. M. Keiper officiating.

During the past two years she has been a patient sufferer from dropsy and passed away at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 21 days.

Wilhelmine Bertha Auguste Wilke was born in Boeck, Germany on May 28, 1863, where she grew to womanhood and on Feb. 5, 1886, she was united in marriage at Lemerow, Germany, to August F. Wilke, who preceded her in death on March 15, 1923. The Wilke's moved to Dorchester, Clark Co. country about 28 years ago and have resided here since.

To this union ten children were born, three deceased and seven living, to mourn her departure. They are Herman, Otto, and Mrs. Paul Schultz, who live in Dorchester country, Max and George, who are on the home farm, and Richard and Bernard of Sheboygan. All of the children were present for the funeral, those from out of town being Mr. and Mrs. R. Wilke and children, and Mr. and Mrs. B. Wilke of Sheboygan, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Asfeldt of Canada.

The Clarion joins with their many friends in tendering sincerest sympathy to the bereaved ones.
