Miller, Louise M. (13 NOV 1877 - 29 JUN 1927)

It is with sad hearts we chronicle the death of friends, especially when they are in the prime of life as was Mrs. Carl Miller, who died at their Saskatchewan home in Canada, June 29th, 1927, at the age of 49 years, 7 months and 16 days.

The body arrived at Spencer Sunday afternoon and Undertaker Fuchsgruber met the train and brought her to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. Manas, where she was until Tuesday morning when burial took place. The services were held at 10 o'clock at the Evangelical Peace Church, Rev. Bizer officiating, and Martin Papesch, Fred Meyer, Adolph and Otto Kallepp, and August and Otto Sauter acted as pallbearers.

Louise Martina Manas was born near Dorchester, Clark County, Wis. at their farm home Nov. 13, 1877, and grew to young womanhood here. She was of that pleasing type that made a host of friends wherever she went.

May 20, 1901, she was united in marriage to Carl Miller. One child was born to them, which preceded the mother in death. Eighteen years ago last fall, Mr. and Mrs. Miller left for Canada, where they have since made their home.

She is gone, her gentle voice is stilled and the friends and places that knew her will know her no more. Though the hearts are lonely and sad yet they can take comfort in the thought that for her the race is run; no more toil, no more suffering, she is at rest.

May the sorrowing ones turn to the only true comfort in the Father's love, for He has promised not to leave us comfortless.

All of her brothers and sisters were here, except Mr. J. H. Ardern of New York, and most of Mr. Miller folks were he too, besides numerous friends.
