COLBY -Margaret E. Provinski, 83, Colby, Wisconsin, died Saturday Feb. 26, 2005, at Colonial Center, Colby.

Graveside services will be held later this spring at Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Maurina/ Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Margaret was born Aug. 31, 1921, in the town of Johnson, Marathon County, to Frank and Ida (Strebe) Provinski. She worked for Johnson Controls in Milwaukee for 24 years making Radiosonde weather instruments for the Army Signal Corps and building modules for electronic computers. Margaret returned to Colby in 1969 and worked for Saint Joseph's Hospital until retiring in 1983. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

Margaret is survived by her nephew, James (Lois) Mollica of Maryville, Texas, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Ruth Olson, on April 22, 2004.
