Macksam, Dorothy (27 JUN 1929)

At a quiet ceremony performed by Rev. Leschensky at 7:30 o'clock on Thursday evening, June 27th at the Lutheran Parsonage, Miss Dorothy Macksam became the bride of Mr. Archie Ferguson. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wehling.

The bride wore an attractive gown of orchid flat crepe, and the groom wore navy blue.

After the ceremony the bridal party autoed to Greenwood where an 8 o'clock dinner was served by the bride's mother, Mrs. B. J. Macksam. The table was decorated with huge bouquets of white peonies and ferns, while an attractive color scheme of orchid and white was used in decorating the room.

Both parties are well and favorably known in this community, the bride being Chief Operator at the Telephone Office, and the groom is employed at the Lakeshire Cheese Plant here. Friday morning they left for a short wedding trip to the Dells. They will reside here.

The newlyweds are popular young people of this community having lived here for several years and have a host of friends who wish them a long and happy wedded life. The Tribune offers heartiest Congratulations.
