Merriman, Mildred (21 JUN 1926)

Dorchester folks were pleased to learn of the marriage of Mr. Harold L. Crane of Manawa, to Miss Mildred Merriman of Owen, Clark County, Wis., Monday, June 21st, 1926. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents in the morning, Rev. Powell, pastor of the Congregational Church of that city, officiating. The attendants were Miss Dorothy Johnson and Mr. Henry Wittig, both of Owen.

Following a delicious wedding breakfast, the couple left for a tour through southern Wisconsin and Illinois. They planned to return about July 1st to their new home at Manawa, where Harold is employed in the First National Bank.

There is no need of introducing either of these young people to Dorchester folks, as they are well known here. Harold has spent most of his life here and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. L. H. Crane, who now live at Hortonville, and left here in January to accept his present position. Miss Merriman is one of our former teachers and an excellent one she was, too. Both have many friends here that join us in wishing them the best there is in their journey through life together.
