Krainak, Gustine (5 OCT 1927)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Louis Catholic Church Wednesday, Oct 5th, 1927, at 9 o'clock when Miss Gustine Krainak, daughter of Mrs. Mary Krainak, was united in marriage to Mr. Fred W. Leonhard, Rev. Father Pitzenberger officiating.

The bride was tastily attired in a white satin faced canton crepe creation with cape effect and wore a veil with a crown of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and sweet peas.

Miss Rose Leonhard, sister of the groom, and Mary Krainak of Ironwood, Mich., cousin of the bride, as bridesmaids, helped to make the picture complete. Miss Leonhard was attired in an olive green canton crepe gown with hat to match and Miss Krainak in rose canton crepe with matching hat. Both wore corsage bouquets of white and pink carnations and sweet peas.

The groom wore the conventional due as did his attendants, Herman Krainak, brother of the bride, and Joe Murphy of Loyal, cousin of the groom.

After the wedding ceremony the bridal party were served to a bountiful dinner at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary Krainak. Rev. Pitzenberger and his mother were among the bidden guests. The home was very prettily decorated with the autumnal colors and a large wedding cake held the place of honor in the center of the table.

At the close of the festivities the bridal couple left on an extended trip for various points in Wisconsin.

The bride and groom are two of our popular young folks and only the very best of wishes are theris as they start out on this life journey together. The Clarion extends the hand of best wishes and congratulations.

The out of town guests who were present were Mrs. Mike Koesier, Miss Mary Krainak, and Miss Molly Kirchner, all of Ironwood, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Murphy and Joe Murphy of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Peter L. Leonhard of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wanke of Athens and Mr. and Mrs. Herhina of Gad.
