Weldon, Delores B. (10 Oct. 1914 - 13 March 2005)

ABBOTSFORD - Delores B. Weldon, 90, of Abbotsford died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

Delores B. Weldon

ABBOTSFORD - Delores B. Weldon, 90, of Abbotsford died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital's Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield.

Funeral services for Delores will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Abbotsford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated with the Rev. Eric Linzmaier and burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Wendtland, Gary Wendtland, William Sherman, Todd Geiger, Ted Czerniak and Keith Mengel.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service today at the funeral home.

Delores was born Oct. 10, 1914, in the town of Holton, Marathon County, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Weber) Seigert. Delores and Herman Weldon were united in marriage on Oct. 19, 1932. They farmed until 1970, when they moved to Abbotsford. Delores then worked as a cleaning lady for St. Bernard's Catholic Church for seven enjoyable years.

Delores will be dearly missed by her children, daughter, Darlene (Clarence) Wendtland of Edgar; son, William (Ellen) Weldon of Stetsonville; 10 grandchildren, Janice (Steve) Soczka, Jim (Patti) Wendtland, Larry (Jan) Wendtland, Lois (Ron) Maldonis, Gary (Gail) Wendtland, Gale (Wayne) Waddle, Kathy Lekie and special friend, Ted Czerniak, Debbie (Will) Sherman, Wendy (Todd) Geiger and Lisa (Keith) Mengel; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Weldon, in 1982; five sisters; and two great-grandsons, Jesse Lekie and Michael Wendtland.
