Three cheers for Upham.

Johnnie Castner has taken a relapse.

Election passed off very quietly.

Miss Della Shafer, of Sheboygan County, is visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity.

John Vandeberg returned from Pipistone, Minn., Friday, where he had been called by the severe illness of his brother.

Aaron Davidson of Minocqua, is visiting friends in this vicinity.

Eddie Fulwiler, who broke his leg last spring, slipped and fell one day last week and injured the same leg so bad that he is laid up again.

Among those who went to hear Spooner were: A. Benedict, S.D. Gibson, Wm. Mortimer, Hi and Art Windover and C.F. Vick.

Oliver Chase sojourned in Marathon County the past week with the view of seeking a location.

Our popular Time reporter mad J- of himself last week. He's always blowing about some wedding to take place soon. We would like to ask him who wants to get married when times are like the present, unless its himself he's croaking about.

Horses went dirt cheap at the auction sale last Friday afternoon at W.H. Smithers.

Snow storms seem to take the place politics now.

Geo. Lindsley went over to the stock farm last week and purchased two fine Jersey cows.

Fred Benedict is quite heavily engaged in farming at the present.

Success, Fred? Jame Frost, of Larmartine, visited a few days the past week among relatives here.

J.J. Rowe, of Plymouth, came up to attend the funeral of his son-in-law, Elmer Redmond.

S.C. Andrews, of Greenwood, disappointed his democratic friends last Saturday night.

The Good Templars will give a supper and entertainment the evening of Nov. 16th. for the benefit of Phillips sufferers. Admission to supper and entertainment 50 cents a couple. All cordially invited.
